Privacy policy

Summary

Trading on MT5 collects the minimum information necessary to operate the site. We do not sell personal data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. Analytics, when present, is privacy-respecting and aggregate-only.

What we collect

Information you provide directly

• Email address if you subscribe to the newsletter or send us a message via the contact form. Used solely to deliver the requested communication.
• Message content when you contact us via the contact form, sent to our editorial inbox.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs: standard HTTP request data including IP address, user agent, referrer, and requested URL. Used for operational diagnostics and security. Logs are retained for no more than 30 days.
• Aggregate analytics: if analytics are enabled, we use privacy-respecting tools that do not set cross-site cookies, do not fingerprint visitors, and aggregate metrics at the page level.

What we do not collect

• Browsing history outside this site
• Personal financial data, trading account details, or broker credentials
• Location data beyond approximate country derived from IP
• Third-party advertising profiles

Cookies

This site does not set any cookies by default. If you submit the contact form or newsletter signup, no cookie is set as part of that action. Future features may require strictly necessary cookies, in which case this policy will be updated and a notice will be displayed on the page where the cookie is used.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Google Fonts: used to serve web typography (IBM Plex Mono and IBM Plex Sans). Google may log the request to deliver the font file.
• Hosting provider: our site is served via a CDN. The CDN provider logs basic request data for security and reliability.

We do not embed third-party advertising, social media trackers, or session replay tools.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links to brokers or third-party services are affiliate links, meaning we may receive compensation if you sign up after clicking. Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial coverage. Where an affiliate link is used, it is disclosed at the top of the relevant article.

Your rights
